This is because they don't have the skills to use what they learned while they were still in school. They fail to put everything into their resumes, and they simply do not know how to go about writing their resumes as a college student. The answer is to study the job listings as if you are applying for the job right now.First of all, you should ask yourself what the typical duties of a college student are. Do you spend most of your time studying? If you do, then chances are that you will want to include the dates of your classes on your resume.You will also need to know which programs are offered by the different departments of your school. Try to include that information on your resume as well. It's important that you remember that there will be a section on the resume for each department, so be sure to consider each of them when writing your resume.The next thing that you should do is list your major on your resume and what type of Bachelor's degree you have received. If you want to go back to school for more education, or you want to pursue another field of study, then list those as well. It's always a good idea to list the Bachelor's program that you are currently enrolled in.It's important that you also list your general education requirements for your future career. You may even want to list all of your general education requirements when you're trying to apply for jobs that don't require a specific level of education.If you don't know anything about IT, then you want to include that on your resume as well. The better known IT companies will be looking for applicants who have basic computer knowledge.Leave off the other areas of study that you are already in, but list the ones that you haven't had the opportunity to attend. Most schools will have courses available through the department that you are applying to. However, some companies may hire directly from the school.As a college student, you already know what's required. Just be sure to give them a complete list of your education. That way, they will be able to offer you a job and let you take advantage of what you already know.
